RBI Third Bi-Monthly Monetary Policy Statement, 2014-15

IMPORTANT POINTS:

Repo rate unchanged at 8.0 percent
CRR unchanged at 4.0 percent

Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR): 

 

The RBI brought down the Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) — the amount of deposits banks keep in government bonds — by 0.5 percent to 22 percent.

Consequently, the reverse repo rate under the LAF will remain unchanged at 7.0 per cent, and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate at 9.0 per cent.

SBI clerk exam was held on 27-07-2014 was cancelled

Recruitment of Assistants in SBI Test on 27.07.2014 (afternoon) at MITRC Alwar cancelled
Re-test scheduled on 09.08.2014

Candidates were called to appear in the online test for the recruitment of Assistants in Clerical Cadre in State Bank of India on 27.07.2014 in the afternoon session from 2.00 PM (Reporting time 1.00 PM) at MITRC Alwar where the test had to be cancelled due to technical reasons.
It has been now decided to conduct a re-test on 09.08.2014 in the Morning session only for those candidates who had reported for the test at the above mentioned venue on 27th July2014 in afternoon session. Reporting time for the test on 09.08.2014 will be 8.30 AM.
Candidates are requested to download their fresh call letter from Bank’s website after 04.08.2014 and bring it along with their photograph (which should be the same as that uploaded in the online application form) affixed on it and Photo Identity Proof in original as well as a photocopy.
The candidates have to be present at the examination hall on 09.08.2014 by 8.30 AM. Candidates who report late will not be permitted to take the examination. Other terms and conditions will be same as mentioned in the detailed advertisement and call letter. If any candidate fails to appear, on the date, time and mentioned venue, his/her candidature will be treated as cancelled.

1) Ms-Word:

Ms-word is a word processor developed by Microsoft. It was first released in 1983 under the name Multi-Tool Word. 

Microsoft Word's native file formats are denoted either by a .doc or .docx file extension.

 The famous Ms-word versions are word 95, word 97, word 2000, word 2002(Office XP), word 2003, word 2007, word 2010 and word 2013.

Office button:
It is one of the important part of the screen used in file management containing menus like New, Open, Print etc.
Title bar:
Title bar is the top most part of the screen which contains quick access tool bar on the left, title of the document in the center and the sizing buttons on the extreme right of it.

Ribbon:

The Ribbon is designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need to complete a task. 

Rulers:

The rulers display horizontal and vertical scales that reflect the width and height of your typing area. The horizontal scale is invaluable when you want to quickly set tabs, margins, and indents. Select the View tab on the main word screen to be able to select/deselect the Ruler/Grid lines and other options.

Typing Area: 

The open area below the ribbon is writing or typing area. There are certain objects that are a permanent part of the typing area. These are: (a) Insertion Point, (b) Mouse Pointer

(a) Insertion Point: 

The black vertical blinking line is the cursor and place where it is blinking is insertion point that is initially at the top left side of the typing area i.e., at the begining of the document. It indicates the place where your typing is inserted into the document. As you type, the blinking line continuously moves along towards right.

(b) Mouse Pointer: 

When you move the mouse around in the typing area, the mouse pointer is in the shape of a thin Ibeam. As you move the mouse near the menu bar and toolbars, the mouse pointer becomes a pointing arrow.

Scrollbars 

The typing area is bordered on the right side by the vertical scroll bar with a scroll button and arrows. The single down arrow scrolls through the document line by line. The double down arrow allows

you to move to the top of the next page. The double up arrow allows you to move to the top of the previous page. The double down arrow allows you to move to the top of the next page. You can also drag the vertical scroll button up and down the scroll bar to move up and down through the document.

Status bar:

It is situated at the bottom of the screen and contains status of the document.
